Q:
How long does a boiler installation take?
A:

Most jobs can be completed in 1-2 days. Combination boiler changes 1 day and larger jobs could be 2 days. We will always advise and give the best possible estimate. It can also vary depending on the number of engineers that attend the job. The time scale taken to complete any work has no effect on the price quoted.

Q:
Do I have to stay in when the boiler is being fitted?
A:

No you do not have to stay in, we are more than happy to be left alone to carry out the work or be left with keys to the property.

Q:
Will there be a lot of mess?
A:

As the saying goes ‘you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs’, boiler installation can be dusty dirty work, but we take every precaution to tidy up as we go. Our number one priority is to treat your home as we would our own, that includes lots of dustsheets and leaving your home as we found it.

Q:
What happens if I have problems or questions after the job is carried out?
A:

We are always at the end of the phone to help. All boiler installations come with standard 1 year workmanship warranty along with the 7-10 year manufactures warranty to give you that piece of mind.

Q:
What areas do you cover?
A:

We cover the whole of Surrey and south London mainly but don’t hesitate to call if you are outside of that area and we will see what we can do.

Q:
How do I know you are gas safe registered?
A:

Please go on to the gas safe register and search for us, our gas number is 302864 ‘Complete Heating and Gas Ltd’

Q:
I’ve heard conflicting ideas whilst getting quotes, how do I know who is right?
A:

Many larger companies employ salesman to quote for boiler jobs.  All quotes we provide will be surveyed by gas engineers with minimum 10 years experience in fitting boilers. We have 100% confidence in our ability to quote and spec central heating systems, there is no up-selling and all quotes are fixed  – so if we do make a mistake we handle the costs.

Q:
When can you start?
A:

That mainly depends on you! As soon as we have the green light we will arrange a date and could be fitting a boiler in your home within 48 hours.

Q:
Do you offer boiler finance?
A:

Yes we do, please call our office or visit our boiler finance page for more info.

Q:
Do you only install new boilers?
A:

We cover all aspects of gas central heating and plumbing. So let us know what it is you need doing and I’m sure we can help.

Q:
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A:

On larger jobs like boiler installations yes we take a deposit. This is usually around 25% depending on the size of the job. The deposit size will be stated on the quote.

Q:
Why do you take a deposit and will I get it back if I cancel?
A:

As you can imagine when installing 100s of boilers each year cash flow is important. By taking a deposit it helps with the cash flow of the company and allows us to continue trading and using credit accounts at our merchants.

If you cancel your job at any point prior to starting you will receive the full deposit back.

Q:
Do I need to sign anything?
A:

We have a terms and conditions of sale document which needs to be signed either prior to starting or on the day of the install. This document outlines how we deal with each other if any issues were to arise and is as much about protecting us as it is you.

Q:
How do I pay for the work?
A:

Where the customer is present all payments are made via card with are portable card machines. The second option if the customer is not present is via online bank transfer. We only accept cheques from OAPs.
